IEMA

This 1-hour session is aimed at individuals in the early stages of a career, perhaps thinking about applying for their first role, or looking to move in a slightly different direction. Or perhaps you are looking for a job in the UK and don’t know where to start.

Applying for jobs can be daunting, so this session is aimed to highlight the typical process you might come across, and how to overcome any challenges to ensure you can put the best application forward for a role that you are passionate about.

We are delighted to have speakers from IEMA Corporate Partner, Frazer-Nash Consultancy, join us for this webinar. Frazer-Nash is a leading systems, engineering and technology company, working across numerous sectors, with a team focusing on sustainability and the environment. They have a graduate scheme, offer internships and have experience of recruiting people at all different stages of their journey.

You’ll hear from Freya Scott, Senior Talent Acquisition Coordinator and Megan Pearce, a Senior Climate and Decarbonisation Consultant, who will be covering the following topics:

  • A typical job application process in the UK
  • Finding roles and using LinkedIn
  • Tips on CV writing and preparing for interviews
  • An overview of types of roles in sustainability
  • Bringing your passion for the environment into your application
  • What might hiring managers be looking for, particularly in the green sector?

There’ll be plenty of time to ask questions as well.
