#CEweek2024 is a week of inspiration and celebration of the work being done to accelerate cities’ transition to a low-carbon circular economy.

Speaker Profiles

Sarah Beaton heads up business engagement for the business transform team at ReLondon. ReLondon support small businesses across London to trial and scale circular economy business models that are good for business and the environment.

Joanna Leyden is the Waste Strategy and Biodiversity Group Manager for the City of London Corporation. Joanna is leading the City’s strategy which will enable the City to operate in a more circular way with regards to the materials and resources; as well as working to ensure measures are put in place to protect and enhance the biodiversity of the city.

Organisation Bio

ReLondon is a partnership of the Mayor of London and the London boroughs to improve waste and resource management and transform the city into a leading low carbon circular economy. They work with government, business citizens and communities, helping everyone in our global city to waste less and reuse, repair, share and recycle more.

The City of London Corporation is the governing body of the Square Mile dedicated to a vibrant and thriving City, supporting a diverse and sustainable London within a globally-successful UK. They are launching their circular economy strategy in Autumn 2024.
